Position Summary:

We are looking for an Accountant to perform a variety of professional accounting tasks in the analysis, maintenance and auditing of accounts. Analyze and prepare financial statements, reports and records of revenues and expenditures. Provide accounting advice and directions to other departmental staff, communicate results of financial analysis to management and make recommendations for appropriate action, identify problems and implement solutions.



Requirements

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Credit Card  and reimbursement transaction  processing and approvals
  • Booking weekly cash transactions as needed
  • Monthly cash reconciliations
  • Helping/Exposure to GL reconciliations such as prepaids/fixed assets/accrual
  • Conduct and post day-to-day accounting entries and finance-related work (AP/GL)
  • Maintain the AP process, including invoice entry, vendor communication and vendor payments
  • Assist with the month-end closing process: preparing closing journal entries and account reconciliations, conducting research, and making corrections to journal entries for account discrepancies
  • Perform inventory month-end closing process
  • Reconciling the bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
  • Handle month-end closing procedures for AP processes
  • Assist with internal and external audit
  • Keeping a check on the finances based on financial statues
  • Process and manage fixed assets
  • Assist in the annual budgets and monthly forecasts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field
  • 1+ year working experience in Accounting / Finance
  • Familiar with GAAP accounting concepts
  • Familiarity in Excel, Netsuite, Bill.com, and Microsoft office products
  • A good team player and able to work independently
  • Attention to details, multitasking abilities, effective problem solving skills
  • Capable of operating in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range:

The base salary range is $80,000 - $90,000

This position will be eligible for bonuses and stock options.
