Job Summary
One of our clients is seeking an Associate
Electrical Engineer to join their team, where you’ll apply your expertise in
building services systems on a wide range of innovative projects in the US and

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other engineers
or design team members as part of a skilled and dedicated team.

Create detailed design drawings, electronic models, specifications,
reports, schedules, and coordinate with utility companies, securing
electrical permit approvals from Plan Check.

Organize technical and financial proposals for new projects.
-
Manage the workload of project discipline engineers and
technicians, ensuring quality verification.
-
Lead concept and preliminary engineering design solutions for
detailed design.
-
Prepare technical specifications and monitor the financial
performance of projects.
-
Keep senior staff informed of critical service/design decisions and
ensure client objectives are met.

Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers.
-
Ensure that practices, policies, and strategies align with client
needs, current legislation, and state building codes.

Manage personal workload to meet deadlines and proactively address
any concerns regarding capacity and time management.

Oversee the project team’s commitments to ensure successful
deadline adherence and resource allocation.

Contribute to the profitability of projects by managing job
finances, resourcing, and expenditure.
Qualifications:
-
8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design within the
building services and construction industry.

Experience in sectors such as Higher Education, Museums,
Commercial, Transportation Hubs, and Stadiums preferred.

Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or
a related field.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
-
LEED AP accreditation preferred.

Proficient in Revit and familiar with computational analysis tools
like electrical fault analysis and lighting design software.

Ability to take on significant responsibility in a team environment
while also working independently.

Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems with
problem-solving skills to identify and address technical challenges.

Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with experience
presenting to C-suite level stakeholders.

Proven ability to prepare and deliver technical reports to clients.

Capability to provide multiple problem-solving solutions and
clearly communicate their pros and cons.
