The position is responsible for the operational excellence for our events and the holistic guest experience including but not limited to: executive receptions, simple ELT events, multi-day team offsites, customer-facing events, partner events, and employee events, all with little oversight. 


This position will also be the main program owner for the Non-Profit event programs in San Francisco including event intake and qualifying event requests, conducting regular external-facing meetings & communication with nonprofit executives, and collaborating with global nonprofit event leads to ensure compliance with global requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support to complex ELT-level events
  • Simple meeting support
  • Strong customer service and executive interaction experience
  • Understanding Salesforce brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging
  • Communicate regular event updates to management including Executive leadership
  • Continuous improvement and maintaining distributed team documents and or playbooks for events
  • Pre, onsite and post event logistical management
  • Key Collaborator for G-Cal calendar management for internal event space
  • Resolve event goals, create and track measurements and metrics including event surveys
  • Co-manage external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with internal teams; Sales, Real Estate creative team, Facilities, Employee Engagement, and Salesforce. Org and Office of Equality to support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully implement programs
  • Research and report creative event options and entertainment based on program format and budget
  • New Hire Trailguide
  • Will apply multiple tools: GCAL, Social Tables, the Salesforce ticketing system, Docusign, and Google products to document and lead event programs.


Qualifications

  • 7 years successful event management experience planning customer centric events, in a B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong customer service experience; candidates with a solid events background and are highly personably and service focused
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Ability to handle multi projects at a given time w/a high level of expertise and skill with little oversight
  • Experience with Non-Profit Events
  • Ability to be consultative with clients looking to host events in our spaces and possess strong public speaking skills
  • Experience in leading budgets, financial planning and tracking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills, with the ability to proactively address client's needs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to creatively negotiate demands
  • Results-oriented, customer driven, organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to assess and prioritize workload in a strict deadline oriented environment
  • Ability to multi task many events and projects at one time
  • Flourish with teamwork and overcoming obstacles
  • Experience with on-line registration systems and reporting
  • Roles are “in office” roles and operate Weekdays, Evenings, and Weekends, and adjusting hours to support as required.
  • Strong executive presence respecting confidentiality and discretion

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $111,200 to $152,900.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
