Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage residential construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met and all work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Communicate with clients to establish project goals and provide progress updates.
  • Prepare project budgets, estimate costs, and develop project schedules.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress and track expenses to ensure completion within budget.
  • Identify and address project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
  • Manage project teams and provide guidance and support to team members.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer candidates with existing relationships with Architects in the Bay Area.
  • Respect for architecture and interior design
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite and Procore.
  • Bachelor's degree: preferably in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-end custom residential construction project management in the San Francisco Bay Area
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and methods.
  • Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
