Midstream is building products for hospital Supply Chain, Managed Care, and Pharmacy. In this role, you will lead user research and product definition/design across 1-2 early product concepts. The products are data-heavy and leverage LLMs.
Role and Responsibilities
Lead user research and discovery interviews
Research competitive and adjacent products in the market
Create rapid prototypes and gather user feedback in collaboration with engineering
Transform research findings into clear user journeys, product opportunities, and strategic roadmaps
Partner with leadership and engineering teams to develop 4–6 week product roadmap.
Expected Contributions
Midstream is a hybrid company—work from our San Francisco office 2-3 days per week or travel to the office during the engagement strongly preferred.
Prototypes build with Figma or similar.
Written user interview summaries and recommendations/next steps for research and product development.
High-level product specifications
Engineering-ready UI/UX designs based on the interviews and feedback on prototypes.
