Join Gallup’s growing DevOps team and get hands-on experience scaling modern, cloud-native pipelines in a collaborative, innovative environment. We’re looking for a motivated DevOps engineer to support the implementation and maintenance of automation, cloud infrastructure and deployment processes that power Gallup’s global analytics — including strengths development solutions, employee engagement services and wellbeing platforms.

As a key contributor, you’ll work alongside experienced developers, architects, security specialists and operations teams to support and improve our DevOps practices. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in cloud technologies, CI/CD and automation while helping deliver secure, reliable software at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize our build, test and deployment processes
  • Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated integration, testing and delivery
  • Support infrastructure automation efforts using AWS CLI and GitHub CLI
  • Help manage application deployments across multiple AWS regions and environments
  • Identify and resolve issues in infrastructure and deployments, with guidance from senior engineers
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and reliability

  • CI/CD familiarity: You have experience working with or contributing to CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS or a related field or equivalent experience required
  • At least two years of experience designing and managing CI/CD solutions (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) required
  • At least two years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies (e.g., ECS, VPC, IAM) and IaC, such as Terraform, required
  • At least one year of experience scripting with Bash, Python or PowerShell required
  • At least one year of experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) required
  • End-to-end testing experience required
  • Knowledge of security and compliance industry best practices required
  • Familiarity with networking and system administration required
  • Working experience in an Agile environment required
  • Exposure to large, complex software solutions preferred

Gallup offers a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance options; a 401(k) retirement and savings plan with company matching; and an employee stock ownership program. This position is open in different U.S. locations. Applicants who live near a Gallup office will be expected to work in the office three days per week upon being hired. We also offer an estimated annual salary range of $105,000-$150,000 for this role. Salaries are based on a variety of factors, including an individual’s education, experience and skills.
