The Opportunity

Adobe seeks an experienced Director of Marketing Program Management to lead a critical function that drives marketing implementation throughout its entire business. This role reports to the Chief Brand Officer and is a key part of the Brand Marketing Leadership Team. They will have the opportunity to take ownership of strategic initiatives and focus on ensuring smooth execution. The goal of Marketing Program Management is to plan, implement, and optimize marketing programs that enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and achieve measurable business objectives. This Director will also encourage innovation and collaboration across the Global Marketing Organization (GMO) and our Business Units.

The Director will coordinate a team of leaders who play a crucial role in managing campaigns, releases, and marketing content that contribute to the organization's strategic objectives. This leadership role requires outstanding collaboration skills and a deep understanding of marketing and creative development. They will work closely with leaders in product marketing and other marketing functions to ensure successful planning, alignment, coordination, risk management, and communication for every marketing program.

What you'll Do

  • Manage a team of category program management leaders to ensure successful execution of marketing programs through strategic alignment, efficient planning, and seamless coordination.

  • Drive annual and quarterly marketing planning processes with business partners, product marketing leadership, finance, and cross-functional global marketing leadership.

  • Ensure the marketing program budget and resourcing are aligned and that the team has accurate information to start the execution of the work.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the creative, production, and media planning processes to enable the team and partners to achieve their best work.

  • Collaborate with senior collaborators from various departments to ensure the work aligns with the creative briefs and overarching business strategies.

  • Collaborate with brand marketing and media teams to ensure that the organization is developing creative and media strategies that can be completed within parameters.

  • Deliver impactful marketing that improves brand visibility, engages target audiences, and meets business objectives.

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; Advanced Degree (MBA or Master’s in Marketing, Communications or related field is a plus).

  • Demonstrated expertise (10+ years) in coordinated marketing, marketing operations or program management and achieving successful marketing plans.

  • Understanding of full-funnel marketing; diverse marketing channels, associated goals, and metrics.

  • Understanding of creative production and development processes to enable our teams to produce the most powerful, impactful work.

  • Model collaboration and leadership combined with optimism, curiosity, and creativity.

  • Comfort with co-creation processes and an understanding that great outcomes are made possible through positive relationships with collaborators.

  • Strong business knowledge and results orientation.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $142,800 -- $287,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
