Job Description

This role can be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale or  New York. 

We are looking for an exceptionally skilled Executive Recruiter to join our team, supporting hiring for our Global Business Organization (GBO) and corporate functions teams. 

In this role you will work on end to end hiring for key Director+ roles within LinkedIn, working actively to attract end engage highly qualified candidates for these critical business positions. You will also work in close partnership with our Executive Research teams to deliver hiring for live searches whilst proactively building diverse talent pipelines to feed into longer-term hiring plans. 

As a team, we are passionate about delivering a high level of candidate care and hiring manager experience, whilst operating in a fast paced, change oriented environment. 

Role Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with senior business stakeholders across our teams, owning the full recruiting cycle for leadership hiring. 
  • Closely collaborate with our exec researchers to find and engage unique and/or passive leadership talent through creative sourcing techniques. 
  • Work closely with our hiring managers and Inclusion Recruiting teams to build diverse pipelines of talented senior leadership candidates for LinkedIn 
  • Engage the leadership population on talent insights, enabling them to make progressive, inclusive, and best-informed strategic workforce plans. 
  • Partner with executive and HR leadership teams around succession planning and talent strategy in the effort to proactively build out a talent pipeline to augment existing succession slates 
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross- functional stakeholders internally. 
  • Drive technology, process, and teamwork efforts to enhance the exec recruitment process. 
  • The majority of our pipelines are created directly – the ability to source and manage pipelines directly by leveraging LinkedIn products will be key. 
  • Deliver against aspirational hiring goals to provide consistent results and data-backed progress to continue moving the needle in our hyper-growth environment. 
  • Build relationships across global TA teams to leverage learnings, share best practices, and scale ideas through collaboration. 
  • Provide an excellent candidate experience by adopting our “Members First” company value and establish a reputation with the business of high integrity and top performance. 
  • Articulate LinkedIn’s business model, company and career value proposition at a highly sophisticated level to executive audiences, prospects and candidates. 
  • Input into the design of Talent products as an SME for executive recruitment. 

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years' experience in recruiting roles 
  • 3+ years focused on Executive-level Search and hiring 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Technology industry experience 
  • 2+ years of Executive Recruiting experience within sales functions 
  • Entrepreneurial, ability to work independently, challenges status quo and takes intelligent risks 
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and presentation skills. 
  • Experience working in a high growth, performance focused environment. 
  • Strong ability to build strong partnerships with multiple stakeholders – is approachable, collaborative with exceptional stakeholder management skills. Strong executive presence, gravitas and ability to influence at the C –level. 
  • Ability to understand, articulate, and document a hiring manager’s stated requirements, and formulate a clear value proposition that will attract the caliber of candidate we need to meet those requirements. 
  • Proven ability to assess external executive candidates for capability to perform the role, as well as leadership competencies, culture fit and other compatibility issues that are critical to success.

The pay range for this role is $138,000 to $224,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
