About the Team:
The Giants’ Experience Development team oversees key aspects of the guest experience at Oracle Park and is dedicated to bringing the many departments and vendors that guests interact with along their journeys at Oracle Park together to elevate the guest experience. The team directly manages Oracle Park’s concessions partner, Guest Services team, and transportation systems, as well as the operation of the public realm and park space in the Mission Rock development (across McCovey Cove from Oracle Park) and the guest experience at the Giants’ Spring Training facility in Scottsdale, AZ. The department was created in 2024 with the aim of bringing together key internal teams with significant influence on the Oracle Park experience that have traditionally operated in silos. A key driver of the creation of the department is the Giants 2023-25 strategic plan (the Game Plan), which outlines several areas of organization-wide focus for the plan period, including Elevating the Complete Fan Experience.
 
About the Role:
The San Francisco Giants are looking for a full-time Manager of Hospitality and Experience Development, who will have the unique opportunity to play a key role in managing hospitality execution and special projects aimed at elevating the guest experience at our world-class ballpark and events venue, with a particular emphasis on food and beverage-centric initiatives.  You’ll work closely with the Oracle Park’s concessionaire, Diamond 58 (a jointly developed sub-brand of Aramark and the Giants), as well as a variety of internal departments at the Giants. 

You will be expected to work and communicate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to help achieve our ambitious visions for the Oracle Park food and beverage program and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for hospitality, food, and beverage and a demonstrated ability to manage projects, work with a diverse set of stakeholders, track and follow through on commitments, make meaning of observations and data to drive improvements in service delivery and operations, work non-traditional hours (especially during baseball season), and operate with urgency and on deadlines.  This role reports to the Senior Director of Experience Strategy and will help to oversee the day-to-day operations of Diamond 58 and to coordinate the concessionaire’s service delivery with other teams that help to deliver an excellent guest experience at Oracle Park. This position will be located in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco. 
 
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
·        Collaborating with Diamond 58 to curate innovative culinary programming associated with Giants heritage events and non-baseball special events
·        Working with the Diamond 58 and client services team to refine technology adoption, workflow and administrative processes to optimize our operations
·        Facilitating regular quality assurance meetings with the Diamond 58 and event services team to ensure consistent compliance with SOPs and integration of creativity and industry best practices to evolve our hospitality experience
·        In collaboration with the client services and event services teams, overseeing F&B programming for large-scale, non-baseball events at Oracle Park
·        Project managing various initiatives related to cap ex buildout of new spaces, partnership integrations and product development

Qualifications
·        Demonstrated experience and go-to systems or personal processes for tracking and following through on a complex array of tasks, as well as developing and executing on plans for individual projects
·        Ability to understand where different stakeholders are coming from and tailor one’s approach to different interests and points of view
·        Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly
·        Customer service skills and a customer-oriented mindset
·        Demonstrated track record of working with internal partners to achieve outcomes
·        Experience working on deadlines and with urgency
·        Experience in or willingness to learn basic data analysis in Excel and in synthesizing findings from data
·        2+ years of experience in a food and beverage or other hospitality environment

$80,000 - $90,000 a year
At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $80,000 to $90,000 plus annual bonus component, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and other factors the San Francisco Giants consider relevant to the hiring decision Additionally
