About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at Everstead Financial. In this pivotal role, you will drive financial planning, analysis, and reporting for multiple projects across the organization. You'll partner with project managers and department leaders to ensure projects are financially sound, stay within budget constraints, and meet profitability targets. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact business decisions through data-driven financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, forecasts, and financial models
  • Monitor project financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions
  • Create and distribute regular financial reports and dashboards for project stakeholders
  • Perform detailed cost analysis to identify optimization opportunities and improve profitability
  • Support project managers with financial decision-making through insightful analysis
  • Track and report on key performance indicators for assigned projects
  • Assist with month-end and quarter-end financial close processes
  • Participate in contract reviews to ensure financial terms align with company objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project financial strategies
  • Support audit requirements by maintaining accurate financial documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, project accounting, or related roles
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and financial software
  • Knowledge of financial principles, budgeting processes, and cost accounting
  • Experience with project-based financial management and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy under deadline pressure
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify financial risks and opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, CPA, or other relevant financial certification
  • Experience in financial services industry practices and reporting requirements
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools
  • Background in managing complex, multi-faceted project finances
