About Bland.ai
At Bland.ai, our goal is to empower enterprises to make AI-phone agents at scale. Based out of San Francisco, we're a quickly growing team striving to change the way customers interact with businesses. We are backed by some of Silicon Valley's finest; Including founders of Twilio, Affirm, ElevenLabs, and many more.
-This is a full-time hybrid role in San Francisco
Role description:
We're hiring a founding product designer to remake our application portal experience from the ground up. Your job will be to talk to users, heavily use our product yourself, and then build intuitive designs from start to finish that ensures users easily intuit application functionality and are able to self-serve, even if prompt engineering & building agentic AI systems is completely unfamiliar to them.
As our founding designer, you will work closely with our engineering team, and both co-founders, taking their feedback and making fast iterations. We don't expect you to get it right the first time (no one does) but we do expect you to seek out and quickly turn around feedback both from the team and our users.
We aren't a super traditional team, but we are an extremely effective one. We love unique backgrounds, hard workers, and intelligent people who take pride in everything they do.
Required skills and Experience:
No hard and fast requirements. We care most about real-world examples of thoughtful, intuitive, effective, and beautiful design. After reviewing your portfolio, we may invite you to submit a design brief, at which point we can more effectively evaluate whether it's a fit.
Bonus Points
Has designed data-heavy dashboards to present lots of data at once
Has designed open-ended workflow products (think Zapier) where user behavior is open-ended
Previously was the founding designer at another company (or even tried starting their own startup)
Benefits and Pay
Healthcare, dental, vision, all the good stuff.
Base $120,000-$180,000 (depends heavily on experience)
Every tool you need to succeed
Equity
If you don't have the perfect experience that is fine! We're a bunch of drop-outs and hackers
Working at a start-up is really hard. We work a lot and we figure things out on the fly.
