Semi Monthly Pay Rate: $3,640-$4,160
Working under the supervision of the Authorization Manager, the Reauthorization Clinician functions as the liaison between intake services and other internal agency departments as well as outside entities. Reauthorization Clinician creates or changes treatment authorizations and reauthorizations, ensures clients meet criteria for admission to our various programs and meets medical necessity as needed, and conducts client assessments to determine continued need for care and documents findings of assessment to be presented for reauthorization based on continued medical necessity. As needed, Reauthorization Clinician reviews assessments conducted by SUD clinical staff and provides feedback. The Reauthorization Clinician performs these duties in collaboration with program leadership and staff to ensure that clinical information is communicated as appropriate.
