We are looking for a Retail Sales Representative who wants to be a pivotal part of a growing team. You will be responsible for maximizing the sales of supplier brands to our retail chain customers.
Retail Sales Representative candidates are organized, self-motivated and friendly. As a member of our Sales Team, you will work in full time Retail Sales with oversight and responsibility for increasing sales of our client’s products for leading brands. This Retail Sales position services and sells to retail accounts within an assigned territory, ensuring Client standards are met and sales volumes are increased. The ideal candidate for this Retail Sales position is independent, ambitious and driven to succeed with strong sales skills and the confidence to influence key decision makers at the store level.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly
Must be able to walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on a daily basis
Must be able to drive a reliable vehicle from account to account

Knowledge of products and product lines.
Responsibilities
Plan time and activities to ensure achievement of company and Client established goals and sales objectives within assigned accounts
Develop monthly, weekly and daily written plans for execution
Establish and follow an efficient and economical routing pattern that ensures assigned accounts are serviced and merchandised as needed
Engage with store management using the latest technology to drive sales and enhance client satisfaction
Maintain client objectives
Manage time and prioritize for store call coverage
Be responsible for all aspects of servicing and merchandising within assigned stores
Build positive relationships and an effective partnership with the ultimate decision maker in all assigned stores
Gain knowledge of the specific store’s business operations and coordinating multiple and diverse options for selling the company’s products to each
Have extensive knowledge of the brands and knowing in-depth features and benefits of each compared to the competition
Communicate issues, opportunities and market intelligence with appropriate management through written, electronic and verbal means
Maintain up-to-date, accurate territory and account records
Submit prompt and accurate reports

Requirements and Skills
2 to 3 years experience as a retail sales representative experience
Proven abilities to develop selling strategies targeted to enhance brand sales
Aggressive self-starter with a strong bias for action and results orientation
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills; position requires daily discussions with customers at all personnel levels
Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Adaptability to changing demands, priorities, circumstances and directions
Ability to work independently, but also successful team building skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, margins, proportions, ratios, percentages, area, and volume
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Keen attention to detail
Proficient in Google platform, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) environment
Possess valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and clean DMV record
