What You Will Do

• Drive AI innovation across the product by implementing practical, value-adding AI solutions that enhance scientific visualization and workflow
• Develop and integrate sophisticated AI capabilities using modern JavaScript and Python
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams to transform business requirements into impactful AI features
• Build and implement LLM technologies that go far beyond basic coding assistants
• Help shape the company's AI strategy by identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency
• Contribute to the technical architecture ensuring seamless AI integration
• Mentor team members on emerging AI technologies and integration best practices

Ideal Candidate Background

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in JavaScript and Python
• Proven track record of integrating AI/LLMs into product workflows or development processes
• Experience working with OpenAI APIs or implementing open-source LLMs
• Product engineering background with a history of shipping user-facing features
• Experience collaborating closely with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Full-stack capabilities with a hands-on engineering approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Background in scientific visualization or working with scientific data
• Previous work at companies with AI-native products
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
