Our client is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their small, dynamic team of around 20 people. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary of up to $180k, along with equity and a comprehensive benefits package. With over $5 million in funding, the company is poised for rapid growth and innovation in the fintech space. They can sponsor TN and E-3 visas and support H1B transfers, though they are not offering new H1B sponsorships.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and related frameworks like Express.js and Next.js.
- 5+ years of experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres.
- Committed to deploying clean code and building robust, well-structured architectures.
- Passionate about developing and enhancing customer-facing products.
- Experience working in a startup environment or within a company with fewer than 20 engineers.
- Strong interest in AI and building AI-driven solutions, including Large Language Models (LLM).
- Seeking someone who thrives in high-quality, fast-paced environments, is used to delivering exceptional code and products, and has a keen enthusiasm for AI.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop software solutions that leverage AI technology (LLM)
- Collaborate with fellow founding team members to define engineering vision, strategy, and product roadmap.
- Help build and manage the technical infrastructure required to support services, including databases, servers, and APIs.
- Ensure the security, privacy, and compliance of all technology and data.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and finance to continually improve group product offerings.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, data scientists, and developers as the startup grows.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive user adoption.
