About the Team:
Quizlet’s Lifecycle Marketing team is passionate about crafting and executing impactful and effective programs to engage and delight our users. Our goal is to take an innovative, creative, and analytical approach to building strong relationships with our audiences while delivering business value through our Lifecycle marketing channels. About the Role:
As a Technical Lifecycle Marketing Manager at Quizlet, you will build out data-driven marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention throughout their lifecycle. You will leverage analytics to segment audiences, personalize campaigns, and optimize performance across multiple channels for a wide variety of audiences while maintaining rigorous best practice standards. You will be responsible for contributing to the operational efficiency of the team.
This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco, CA office.
In this role, you will:
- Work with our broader team to build and deploy complex multi-channel lifecycle programs
- Collaborate with stakeholders on complex campaign logic and work with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to integrate new events and attributes
- Personalize campaigns and deliver recommendations with custom data and API calls
- Write custom logic to localize marketing campaigns for 19 markets
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides for all CRM channels
- Assist in handling email deliverability and reputation at scale
- Develop and implement a robust QC process to ensure 100% error-free delivery
- Assist in ad hoc Lifecycle Marketing Projects as needed
What you bring to the table:
- 5+ years of experience in computer science, marketing, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with Braze, Iterable, or a similar marketing automation platform
- Demonstrated experience working with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to integrate new events, attributes, and other data or channels
- Ability to write liquid logic, SQL, and/or HTML
- High interest and demonstrated skill in technical campaign setup
- Experience building and launching multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong problem identification and solving skills
- Ability to work independently across multiple projects and timelines

Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a starting base salary of $120,000 - $140,000, depending on location and experience, as well as company stock options
