Who you are
The ideal candidate is a proactive and motivated professional who combines strong construction knowledge with exceptional interpersonal skills to advance construction projects projects successfully. You thrive on achieving project goals and take pride in owning your contributions. With outstanding organizational abilities, you will manage key aspects of the construction process, including RFIs, submittals, meetings, procurement, schedules, general construction management, and punch lists. You are eager to expand your expertise and grow your career in the construction industry, with a clear vision of becoming a project manager in the future.
What you’ll do
- You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our project by reporting directly to a Project Manager.
- Collaborating closely with Subcontractors to understand their needs, scope, timeline, etc.
- Proactively managing RFIs, including creation, submission, and response tracking.
- Overseas the submittals and procurement process for the project.
- Scheduling work activities and maintaining a three-week look-ahead schedule.
- Coordinating efforts with Foremen, Superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conducting buy-out for general conditions and self-performed trades.
- Performing site safety surveys to assess the implementation of safety programs.
- Monitoring subcontractor schedules and performance.
- Supporting and enforcing safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assisting with additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Project Manager.
- This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, safety-conscious, and driven to deliver successful project outcomes.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Proven ability to work in team setting and communicate effectively with diverse personalities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills to drive project success.
- Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software is highly desirable.
- Experience in developing and managing construction schedules is a strong advantage.
- Ability to pass a background check and LiveScan to meet project-specific requirements.

Compensation
- Salary of $90,000 - $110,000
- Annual Bonus
