In Summary...
Mazzetti is seeking an Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer, preferably with experience in healthcare or central plant design and optimization to prepare project electrical drawings and specifications, coordinate work within the project team and with other disciplines and participate in contract administration activities.
Your Tasks Will Involve
- Conducting site surveys and assessments to gather necessary information for electrical system design and optimization.
- Analyzing existing electrical systems in healthcare facilities or central plants to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
- Collaborating with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Developing detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
Work Location
This is a hybrid position. The candidate will be required to work on-site at our project site/big room in Sacramento three days a week. The remaining workdays can be completed remotely from home, provided the candidate is based in Northern California. Mazzetti is open to relocating qualified candidates to Sacramento for this role.
Expertise And Abilities You Will Contribute
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 6+ years of experience in Electrical design (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (or ability to obtain in 2 years, preferred)
- Based in or willing to relocate to Sacramento, CA.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a project team
- Possess the experience, knowledge and discernment needed to develop and document appropriate system designs for a variety of projects.
- Previous experience with healthcare/hospital design is preferred
- Proficient in Revit and SKM Preferred
