Position Overview:


Jade Fiducial is looking for a motivated Tax Accountant who is eager to gain experience working with small businesses and individuals on accounting and tax matters.


The Tax Accountant will be responsible for general bookkeeping, monthly write-up, tax, payroll, and other accounting functions for Jade Fiducial clients. 


Main Responsibilities:



  • Reconciliation of bank and company accounts

  • Reviewing client's financial statements

  • Preparation of outsourced bookkeeping for clients

  • Preparing sales tax returns for clients

  • Preparing payrolls for clients

  • Preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns 


Desired Skills/Experience/Attributes



  • 2+ years of tax or accounting experience (including internships). CPA experience preferred.

  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word

  • French fluency is a plus

  • Proven track record of solving practical problems 

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle a high-volume workload

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registration:


Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or French DUT/BTS in accounting + a minimum of 2 years working experience
