Job Description Summary:

The Senior Recruiter’s role is to identify and connect with talent for current and future positions. The Senior Recruiter generates diverse candidate pools that are reflective of our communities and presents viable candidates through objective prescreen interviews. The Senior Recruiter is a brand ambassador for See’s Candies and connects with candidates that share See’s principles.

The salary range for this role is: $92,000 - $115,000.

Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support talent acquisition strategies including optimizing job postings, developing recruiting and marketing channels (digital and non-digital), procuring strategic job board listings, and designing and implementing recruitment campaigns that highlight the See’s brand.
  • Source and identify diverse and qualified candidates, conduct prescreen interviews, objectively evaluate qualifications, consult and coordinate with hiring managers, and assist in the interview and selection process as needed.
  • Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open positions.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand the position profile, team dynamics and goals, key success factors, and skills required for the role.
  • Track and attain recruitment KPI’s such as time to fill, cost to hire, quality of hire, and hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Track and maintain records regarding the status of the candidate pipeline, open positions, and time to fill roles.
  • Research or assist in researching new KPI’s, recruitment metrics, recruitment strategies, new job boards, and URL optimization/scraping.
  • Draft job descriptions that optimize job search sites with Boolean searches.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance technology and innovations that enhance the department’s effectiveness.
  • Organize, lead, or participate in employment events, such as career fairs.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to the Talent Acquisition team, fostering professional development and growth.
  • Utilize Workday Recruiting and LinkedIn to manage and streamline recruitment processes.
  • Assist the HR team with special projects as required and perform other job duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in recruitment and utilizing talent platforms such as Workday, Taleo (Passport), Ultipro, Monster, Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or Psychology; equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • PC Proficiency: Windows, MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or equivalent software).
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively, and in a positive manner.
  • Hunger to learn new skills with a high level of intellectual curiosity.
  • Must be willing to travel to Los Angeles and monthly to the SF Bay Area for hiring events.
  • Strong organizational skills.
