Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management (50%)
Inventory Control: Oversee the daily operations of inventory management, including receiving, storing, and distributing products. Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
Data Management: Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system.Support record-keeping, including NetSuite data entry if needed. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement inventory management best practices and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train warehouse staff in inventory management procedures. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, build & staging team, sales, and logistics teams to ensure inventory levels meet business needs and customer demands.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
2. Daily Prioritization (25%)
Daily parts requests accurate and timely shipping
Inventory returns processing and RMA to the vendor by working closely with procurement.
Meet daily inventory and other warehouse-related requests from other teams or departments.
3. Documentation and Process (5%)
Ensure checkpoint processes are documented and workflows are in place and followed.
Outline and document process improvements to ensure accuracy of inventory.
Spare parts organization and part labeling (part # and parts name) in the warehouse
4. Safety and Compliance (10%)
Ensure all inventory management activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
Drive standard operating procedures and enforce safety protocols to maximize operational efficiency.
6. Planning (5%)
Plan and prioritize daily tasks to manage workload effectively, ensuring the timely build and deployment of machines.
Identify resource and production needs, such as truck drivers, vinyl wrapping, and forklift availability.
7. Team Leadership (5%)
Help manage warehouse staging associates in collaboration with the engineering team, providing oversight, training, and coaching.
Foster a collaborative teamwork environment focused on continuous improvement.
